Sandra (Sandy) D. Richardson MPAS, PA-C joined Mt. Pleasant Family Practice in November 2014. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from LSU Health (formerly Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center) in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed in both Texas and Louisiana. Mrs. Richardson is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA), Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants (LAPA), Northwest Louisiana Association of Physician Assistants (NWLAPA), as well as Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology (APAO). She has experience in family medicine including pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s health, and endocrinology with a special interest in patient education and healthcare management. Mrs. Richardson is a former Mt. Pleasant resident of 8 1/2 years and currently resides in Texarkana, AR.
